BIM Manager

Job Summary:

The BIM Manager is responsible for leading and managing the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across construction projects. This role ensures effective coordination between design consultants, contractors, and project teams while maintaining BIM standards, improving project efficiency, and supporting digital construction initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across projects.
• Prepare and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination involving Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection reviews and facilitate resolution of design and construction conflicts.
• Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless model integration.
• Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and project information exchange processes.
• Support construction planning, sequencing, and project execution through BIM-enabled solutions.
• Prepare BIM reports, dashboards, model audits, and management presentations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop BIM Engineers and BIM Coordinators.
• Drive digital construction initiatives and promote BIM best practices across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and company BIM requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in BIM, Design Coordination, or Digital Construction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a BIM leadership or management role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Proven experience in clash detection, model coordination, and BIM execution planning.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery processes, and digital workflows.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• BIM Management Certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM Standards.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale construction projects within the UAE/GCC.
• Exposure to 4D Planning, 5D Cost Management, and Digital Twin technologies.
