ELV System Engineer (VMS Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ELV System Engineer with strong expertise in Video Management Systems (VMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the design, installation, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise-level CCTV and security management solutions, particularly Milestone, Genetec, Pelco, and Samsung SSM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Video Management Systems (VMS) including Milestone, Genetec, Pelco, and Samsung SSM.
• Deploy and support IP CCTV surveillance systems, video analytics, storage solutions, and network infrastructure.
• Configure cameras, recording servers, workstations, video walls, and centralized monitoring systems.
• Perform system integration with access control, intrusion detection, intercom, and other security systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system performance issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and health checks for security systems.
• Prepare system documentation, network diagrams, configuration records, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project teams for implementation and support activities.
• Provide technical support, training, and system handover to end users.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, cybersecurity requirements, and industry standards.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CCTV, ELV, or Physical Security Systems.
• Proven experience with:
• Milestone XProtect
• Genetec Security Center
• Pelco Video Management Systems
• Samsung SSM (Smart Security Manager)
• Experience in large-scale CCTV deployments and system migrations is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, and fiber optic networks.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of video analytics, camera technologies, and recording architectures.
• Familiarity with access control systems and security integrations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.

Preferred Certifications

• Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCITP) or equivalent.
• Genetec Technical Certification.
• Microsoft, Cisco, or networking certifications will be an added advantage.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
