Job Summary
Cinemacity is seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the company's digital platforms. The role will be responsible for building and managing Cinemacity website, integrating customer-facing technologies, implementing digital solutions to improve the guest experience, and providing data-driven recommendations to support marketing and business growth initiatives. The position will work closely with the Marketing team to support digital campaigns, analytics tracking, and website optimization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain the Cinemacity website, managing both front-end and back-end development.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications.
- Ensure website security, reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality.
Multi-Branch Website Management
- Develop website functionality that allows users to navigate seamlessly between Cinemacity locations.
- Create dedicated branch-specific pages with unique content, promotions, movie schedules, and operational information.
- Ensure a consistent user experience across all branch pages.
Online Ordering & Delivery Integration
- Develop and maintain integrated food and beverage ordering functionality similar to leading cinema operators.
- Integrate delivery and pickup systems for concession items where applicable.
- Coordinate with third-party payment gateways, ordering platforms, and delivery providers.
- Continuously improve customer ordering and checkout experiences.
AI Chatbot Implementation
- Develop, integrate, and maintain an AI-powered chatbot to assist customers with:
- Movie schedules
- Ticket bookings
- Membership inquiries
- Branch information
- Food and beverage ordering support
- Frequently asked questions
- Monitor chatbot performance and continuously optimize responses and customer interactions.
Digital Analytics & Website Performance
- Monitor website traffic, user behaviour, and digital performance metrics through analytics platforms.
- Ensure accurate implementation of website tracking, conversion tracking, and reporting tools.
- Prepare reports and insights on website performance, user engagement, and conversion trends.
- Support the Marketing team by providing technical recommendations to improve website performance and user experience.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of digital campaigns from a technical and tracking perspective.
Technical SEO & Website Optimization
- Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices to support website visibility and performance.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and indexing.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on SEO initiatives and website content requirements.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for technical improvements.
- Support the implementation of recommendations arising from SEO audits and digital marketing initiatives.
Technology & Innovation
- Research and recommend emerging technologies that can enhance the customer experience.
- Support integration of ticketing, CRM, loyalty, payment, and digital marketing systems.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection standards.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Management teams to support business objectives through technology.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in full-stack web development.
