Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Engineering

Act as the Level 2 escalation point for complex network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, and Cisco platforms.
Administer firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, ACLs, NAT, and network security policies.
Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds and Dynatrace.
Perform packet-level analysis using Wireshark.
Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions ensuring RTO and RPO compliance.
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, Spanning Tree, Cisco IOS/NX-OS
Wireless Technologies: Cisco Wireless, Aruba, Cisco ISE, ClearPass
Network Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, ACLs, Cloud WAF
Load Balancing: F5, Citrix NetScaler, AWS ALB
AWS Networking: Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs
Automation: Python and/or Ansible
Monitoring: SNMP, NetFlow, QoS, SolarWinds, Dynatrace
Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, GCP
ITIL Foundation Certification
Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and documentation skills
