Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional, forward-thinking Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) / Head of HR to drive our overarching people strategy and align human resources practices with our ambitious business objectives across multiple regions.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will champion our corporate culture, optimize HR operations, and build a high-performing workforce. This role demands a balance of high-level strategic vision and hands-on operational leadership to steer our organizational development, talent lifecycle, and compliance frameworks across a multi-entity structure.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- HR Strategy & Alignment: Design, implement, and update comprehensive HR strategies and policies aligned with global best practices and overarching business goals across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
- Executive Advisory: Partner with senior leadership and the Board to advise on manpower planning, organizational restructuring, culture, change management, and succession planning.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and leverage data-driven HR insights, metrics, and analytics to support executive decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
- Budgetary Control: Oversee and manage the global HR budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Talent Lifecycle & Management
- Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end workforce planning and high-impact recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top-tier global talent.
- Talent & Succession Management: Champion talent management frameworks, including leadership development, succession planning, and continuous training initiatives to retain high-performing employees.
- Performance Management: Oversee objective, robust performance management frameworks, goal-setting systems (KPIs/OKRs), appraisal processes, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
Employee Relations & Culture
- Employee Engagement: Cultivate a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment by driving strong employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Conflict & Grievance Management: Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex employee relations cases, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Champion and mentor a diverse, multi-cultural HR team, fostering an environment rooted in equity and collaboration.
Compliance & Total Rewards
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with UAE labor laws and corporate regulations, while monitoring legal frameworks across other operational regions (Middle East, Africa, Asia).
- Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and total rewards structures to position the company as an employer of choice.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA/MSc) or premium professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHRi, CIPD Level 7).
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role (Director or C-level) within complex, multi-country, or multi-entity organizations.
