Independently lead the execution of complex and strategically important pump package projects across the NOV Production and Midstream Technology portfolio, including Reciprocating, PCP, MPP, and ALS systems. Accountable for delivering projects in accordance with contractual requirements, approved scope, schedule, budget, and NOV quality, HSE, and compliance standards, while meeting customer expectations and business objectives.
Serve as the focal point for technical, commercial, and execution activities, coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to manage risk, control change, resolve issues, and ensure successful project delivery. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team capability by sharing technical expertise and providing informal guidance to colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex pump package projects from handover / LOI / purchase order award through engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, shipment, commissioning support and close-out, coordinating Sales, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Service, vendors and customers.
- Act as the primary technical and execution focal point, taking ownership of end-to-end delivery in line with contract, scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain MS Project schedules, VDRL / deliverables registers, risk registers, action trackers, Materials tracking, change logs and close-out plans.
- Monitor progress, cost exposure, milestones, invoicing alignment, forecast, risk and change control. Take corrective action to protect plans and budgets.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacture, inspection, documentation and logistics interfaces in line with project priorities and shop load plans.
- Lead kick-off, technical clarification, design review, progress review and phase review meetings with internal teams, vendors and customers. Escalate critical issues and drive closure.
- Review drawings, vendor documents and package documentation for completeness, compliance and readiness for manufacture, testing and delivery.
- Identify and manage technical, schedule, commercial, supply chain and HSE risks. Maintain mitigation plans and drive timely action closure.
- Manage change requests, deviations, concessions and scope variations in line with contract terms and internal approvals, including assessment of commercial impact.
- Support Proposals / Sales on critical opportunities by providing technical, execution and schedule input and ensuring effective handover of awarded orders.
- Maintain effective customer communication, provide timely status updates, manage expectations and resolve issues to support customer satisfaction.
- Perform vendor visits, site inspections and FAT / witness testing / commissioning support as required.
- Resolve operational and technical issues, minimize delays and unexpected cost impact, and support lessons learned, continuous improvement and guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with company and corporate policies, HSE requirements, quality procedures and contractual / legal requirements.
- Ensure projects meet applicable international standards such as ISO, API 674 / 676, ASME, ATEX, DNV, CE Marking and functional safety SIL.
- Responsible for project close-out including final documentation, invoicing support, handovers, MDR dossier completion, warranty interfaces and management reviews.
