DEQ Civil Engineer

Job Summary:
Art of Engineering (AOE) is seeking a qualified and experienced DEQ Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all DEQ-related approvals, submissions, inspections, and compliance requirements while ensuring successful execution of civil engineering projects in accordance with local regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit DEQ-related documents, drawings, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DEQ regulations, local authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Review civil engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist in obtaining approvals, permits, and NOCs from relevant authorities.
• Identify project risks and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project updates for management.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned engineering tasks and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in UAE civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of DEQ procedures, regulations, and approval processes.
• Experience in authority submissions and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving license will be an advantage.
