Senior Executive – Business Growth

Role Overview:

Support Dubai CommerCity’s business growth initiatives through industry research, competitor benchmarking, product and pricing analysis, and strategic recommendations. The role focuses on monitoring market trends, identifying new opportunities, evaluating existing product offerings, and coordinating stakeholder alignment to support business and commercial decision-making across the free zone.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Research & Benchmarking

• Monitor regional and global industry trends across free zones, e-commerce, logistics, commercial real estate, digital commerce, and business setup sectors.
• Conduct benchmarking studies and prepare market intelligence reports on competitor offerings, pricing structures, incentives, and commercial strategies.
• Identify new opportunities by track emerging business models, product types, and customer demands
• Develop comparative analyses and presentations to support strategic recommendations and management decision-making.

Product Development & Pricing Strategy

• Support introduction of new product offerings and commercial initiatives based on industry trends and market demand. Work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate feasibility, positioning, competitiveness, and business impact of proposed initiatives.
• Conduct pricing studies and commercial assessments for existing and proposed products, services, and facilities.
• Continuously review and monitor existing products, categories, pricing structures, and associated commercial terms to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Stakeholder Coordination & Strategic Alignment

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including sales, finance, legal, operations, property management, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on proposed business initiatives and commercial strategies.
• Prepare business cases, benchmarking reports, presentations, and internal memos for stakeholder review and approvals. Facilitate discussions and follow-ups to support alignment and timely decision-making across departments.
• Support management with recommendations backed by market data, benchmarking insights, and commercial analysis.

Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain organized records of benchmarking data, pricing references, and commercial studies for future reference and strategic planning.
• Support ad hoc business research and strategic initiatives as required by management.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience in free zones, business setup, commercial strategy, product management, pricing, consulting, or business growth roles preferred.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Experience in preparing commercial studies, pricing analyses, and strategic reports.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting reports and memos.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis/reporting tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, business growth, sales, client relations, account management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of business growth strategies, market development, and client acquisition.
• Experience in identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, industry insights, and business opportunities.
• Experience in organizing and participating in business events, roadshows, exhibitions, webinars, and networking activities.
