Mechanical Draftsman (MEP) – UAE Experience Required

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman (MEP) to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in mechanical drafting, shop drawings, and coordination for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.

Position Details

• Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman (MEP)
• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Experience: 2–5 Years of UAE Experience
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred
• Availability: Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and BIM teams to ensure design accuracy and project compliance.
• Modify drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and site instructions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Assist in coordination with architectural and structural teams to resolve clashes and design issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control.
• Support project execution teams during construction and installation phases.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedules.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of coordination procedures and construction practices in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects in the UAE.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE authority standards and submission procedures.
