Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman (MEP) to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in electrical drafting, shop drawings, and coordination for power, lighting, and ELV systems.

Position Details

• Job Title: Electrical Draftsman (MEP)
• Location: Dubai, UAE
• Experience: 2–5 Years of UAE Experience
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred
• Availability: Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings for electrical systems including power, lighting, and ELV.
• Coordinate with engineers and BIM teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and site instructions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority standards, and industry codes.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revisions control.
• Support site teams during installation and execution phases.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of UAE experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination environment will be an advantage.
• Understanding of UAE authority submission procedures.
