Cyber Security Officer - MEA

Key Responsibilities

1.HQ–Region Bridging & Strategy Alignment

• Act as the primary interface between HQ cybersecurity teams and MEA markets.
• Translate global policies into localized, implementable solutions and requirements.
• Provide structured feedback to HQ on regional regulations, customer needs, and competitive gaps.

2.Regional Strategy & Market Leadership

• Define MEA cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals.
• Provide regulatory foresight and market intelligence for MEA.
• Position cybersecurity as a business enabler and differentiator.

3.Customer Engagement & Business Enablement

• Serve as trusted advisor to customers, regulators, and partners.
• Support strategic bids, contract negotiations, and executive discussions.
• Translate cybersecurity into clear customer value and compliance readiness.

4.Compliance & Localization Leadership

• Lead alignment with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST and local regulations.
• Drive localization of frameworks, certifications, and compliance baselines.
• Support regulatory engagement and external representation.

5.Solution & Architecture Direction

• Define target cybersecurity architecture for WTG, SCADA, and OT systems.
• Guide development of standardized yet locally adaptable solutions.
• Ensure secure-by-design principles across offerings.

6.Delivery Oversight & Risk Governance

• Oversee cybersecurity integration across major regional projects.
• Ensure alignment between contract commitments, delivery, and operations.
• Govern regional cybersecurity risks and major incidents.

7.Ecosystem & Influence

• Build relationships with customers, OEMs, EPCs, and regulators.
• Influence supplier and partner cybersecurity requirements.
• Support company positioning in regional policy and industry engagement.

Required Experienc

• eBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• .8+ years of experience in OT Security, SCADA, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Power Systems, or Renewable Energy
• .Experience supporting critical infrastructure, utility-scale renewable energy, transmission, or industrial facilities
• .Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and OT architectures
• .Strong exposure to MEA markets and regulatory environments
• .Experience managing cybersecurity requirements during design, testing, commissioning, and operational phases
• .Business-level English required
