Description
We are looking for a results-driven Social Media Strategist to own the social media presence across our multi-brand portfolio. This person will lead a creative team (3 graphic designers, 1 photographer) to produce high-performing content, while working closely with the Heads of Digital Marketing to align social strategy with broader performance marketing goals. The ideal candidate blends creative direction with a sharp commercial mindset — someone who treats social media as a growth and sales channel, not just a brand awareness tool.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple brands, each with distinct audiences and goals
- Own organic growth targets (followers, engagement, reach) across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Translate social media activity into measurable sales and lead generation outcomes
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, trends, and content formats relevant to the Dubai/UAE market
Paid Social
- Plan, execute, and optimize Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook & Instagram) in coordination with the performance marketing team
- Work with the Digital Marketing HOD to align paid social budgets with overall media spend and ROAS targets
- A/B test creative, copy, and audiences to continuously improve campaign performance
Team Leadership
- Manage and direct a team of 3 graphic designers and 1 photographer
- Plan content calendars, shoot schedules, and creative briefs across all brands
- Review and approve creative output to ensure brand consistency and quality
- Coach the team on platform-specific best practices (Reels, Stories, carousels, short-form video, etc.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Heads of Digital Marketing departments to ensure social strategy supports broader marketing and sales objectives
- Coordinate with SEO, Google Ads, and content teams for integrated campaigns
- Present performance reports and insights to leadership regularly
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in social media strategy/management, ideally managing multiple brands simultaneously
- Proven experience running Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads Manager); familiarity with other ad platforms (TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn) is a plus
- Strong understanding of organic growth tactics across major social platforms
- Demonstrated experience in the Dubai/UAE market — understanding of local audience behavior, trends, and competitive landscape
- Experience managing a creative team (designers/photographers) or working closely with one
- Strong portfolio of past social campaigns with measurable business impact (sales, leads, growth)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially working with senior marketing leadership
Nice to Have
- Experience working with interior design, home decor, furniture, or related lifestyle brands
- Experience managing social media for retail/e-commerce brands with multiple product lines
- Familiarity with tools like Metricool, Hootsuite, Canva/Figma, or similar content planning and design tools
