Role Overview
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented MEP Engineer to join our SPA Division, specializing in hydrothermal and wellness systems. The candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, coordination, and execution of MEP services across premium hospitality, residential, and wellness projects. This role demands a strong technical foundation, site coordination expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality systems aligned with luxury project standards.The selected candidate will contribute to creating world-class wellness environments where technical performance meets luxury and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
Prepare and review MEP designs for spa facilities, including saunas, steam rooms, hammams, hydrotherapy pools, and water features
Perform engineering calculations such as heat loads, ventilation rates, plumbing sizing, and drainage systems
MEP Coordination
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, and contractors
Integrate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems within architectural and interior constraints
Resolve technical clashes and ensure seamless system integration
Shop Drawings & Submissions
Review detailed shop drawings and technical submissions
Ensure alignment between BOQ, drawings, and site requirements
Manage approvals from consultants and clients
4. Equipment Selection
Select and size equipment such as steam generators, sauna heaters, pumps, filters, and heat exchangers
Ensure optimal system performance, safety, and energy efficiency
Integrate automation systems, sensors, and control panels
5. Site Execution
Supervise MEP installation works on-site
Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications
Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams for timely execution
6. Testing & Commissioning
Lead testing and commissioning of all spa-related MEP systems
Validate system performance (temperature, humidity, airflow, water flow)
Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation
7. Procurement Support
Assist procurement team in technical evaluation of materials and vendors
Review quotations and ensure compliance with project specifications
Track equipment delivery and technical documentation
8. After-Sales & Maintenance Support
Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting
Assist in resolving operational issues post-handover
Recommend preventive maintenance strategies
9. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate technical documentation and calculation records
Submit weekly progress reports and highlight project risks/issues
Support project close-out documentation
10. Quality & Safety
Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and safety regulations
Identify risks and ensure proper mitigation during execution
Maintain high-quality installation standards in all projects
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
Valid UAE Driving License
4–7 years of experience in MEP systems (spa, pool, or HVAC preferred)
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approval processes
Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end residential projects is an advantage
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
