Position Title - Engineer Supervisor

Job Summary

The Engineer Supervisor is responsible for overseeing engineering activities, supervising technical staff, ensuring project quality, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating engineering operations to meet organizational objectives. The role involves managing resources, reviewing technical work, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and regulations.
  • Review engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
  • Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction or operational activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and project risks.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare project status reports and present updates to management.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and procurement activities.
  • Evaluate employee performance and recommend training and development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • Professional engineering certification or license preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of engineering experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with project management and construction supervision.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
