Join a well-funded, post-Series A technology company as one of its first senior engineering hires. With strong backing and ambitious growth plans, the business is entering its next phase of scale and is looking for a Head of Engineering to help build the engineering function from the ground up.

This is far more than an execution role. You'll own key architectural decisions, build core platform capabilities, and work directly with the C-suite to turn vision into reality. You'll have the autonomy to move quickly, the opportunity to influence technical strategy, and the chance to lay the foundations for the team that follows.

What You’ll Do

• Own backend architecture decisions from the ground up - no legacy to work around
• Build and iterate on core product infrastructure at pace
• Work directly with the founders to translate vision into technical reality
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed and scalability as the company grows
• Hire and mentor the engineers who come after you

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience, including meaningful time at a high-growth startup or scaled tech environment
• Strong opinions on system design - and the humility to revise them
• Comfortable with ambiguity; you define the problem as much as you solve it
• Proven ability to ship fast without cutting corners that matter
• Python and/or Go preferred; cloud-native experience essential (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• UAE-based
