Enterprise Architect
Moro Hub
Description
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join us and help shape the next generation of enterprise application platforms, modernization programs, and AI-native solutions.
This is a strategic architecture role for someone who has strong breadth across application development, application support, cloud-native platforms, integration, DevOps, automation, managed services, and emerging AI technologies .
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both business and technology conversations — engaging with customers, leadership teams, architects, developers, operations teams, and technology partners to design practical, scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
What You’ll Do
As an Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Define enterprise application architecture principles, standards, reference models, and technology roadmaps.
- Assess existing application landscapes and recommend modernization strategies across legacy, custom-built, packaged, SaaS, cloud-native, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Lead architecture design for enterprise-scale applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud-native solutions.
- Guide modernization of monolithic and legacy systems into more modular, scalable, and resilient architectures.
- Work closely with application development and support teams to improve reliability, performance, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Support application managed services through better observability, automation, runbooks, supportability standards, and service transition practices.
- Identify opportunities to embed AI-native capabilities into development, support, service operations, knowledge management, and customer solutions.
- Define architecture patterns for AI-enabled platforms, including LLM integration, RAG, vector databases, AI agents, copilots, workflow automation, prompt management, governance, and evaluation frameworks.
- Partner with sales, presales, delivery, operations, cybersecurity, cloud, and data teams on customer solutions and transformation initiatives.
- Mentor solution architects, technical leads, developers, and support engineers.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, application architecture, solution architecture, software engineering, or application support leadership.
- Strong experience across the full application lifecycle: design, development, integration, deployment, support, modernization, and operations.
- Proven experience in a system integrator, managed services provider, technology consulting firm, or large enterprise IT environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, databases, cloud platforms, DevOps, and production support models.
- Experience with modern architecture patterns such as microservices, API-first architecture, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and cloud-native application design.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, observability, automation, and platform engineering.
- Practical exposure to AI-native technologies such as LLMs, RAG platforms, vector databases, AI agents, copilots, prompt engineering, model integration, and AI governance.
- Ability to communicate complex technology topics clearly to both executive and technical stakeholders.
- A pragmatic architecture mindset — someone who can balance innovation with delivery realities, supportability, security, cost, and business value.
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
- Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kafka, API gateways, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar technologies.
- ServiceNow, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or other observability and ITSM platforms.
- Azure OpenAI, OpenAI
