Presales Architect

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Presales Architect to join our team. In this role, you will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, working closely with customers to design innovative, scalable solutions that drive real business value.
You will play a key role in shaping customer strategies, translating business challenges into technical solutions, and supporting the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide deep technical expertise across solution domains, products, and services while understanding customer business and technical environments
- Design and present compelling, outcome-based solutions aligned to customer needs
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution architectures
- Lead the development of proposals, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and expectations
- Build scalable, high-value solutions balancing cost, scope, and performance
- Deliver demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and solution configurations
- Engage with customers at all levels, including senior stakeholders, to articulate solution value
- Support account planning, pipeline development, and opportunity identification (upsell and cross-sell)
- Participate in sales forecasting and help drive deals through the sales lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated solutions
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements
- Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge across the team
Skills & Experience
- 2-6 years years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on technical consulting and solution selling
- Proven experience in solution architecture, presales, or technical consulting roles
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and scalable solution design
- Experience designing and delivering demos, POCs, and technical presentations
- Advanced knowledge of cloud, SaaS/aaS models, and modern technology ecosystems
- Strong commercial awareness, including understanding of TCO, ROI, and financial models
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to influence and engage technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with CRM tools and managing sales pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Desirable
- Relevant industry or technology certifications
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Experience working with partners and ecosystem solutions
- Exposure to go-to-market strategies and account planning
Education
- Degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree preferred
