HR Assistant – Roles & Responsibilities

Position: HR Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Employee Documentation & Records Management
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR databases.
  • Ensure all employee records are accurate, complete, and confidential.
  • Process employee documentation, including contracts, letters, and forms.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support
  • Assist in posting job vacancies and screening applications.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Prepare onboarding documents and facilitate new employee induction.
  • Visa, Labor & Government Relations Support
  • Coordinate visa processing, Emirates ID applications, medical tests, and labor-related documentation.
  • Track visa renewals, labor card renewals, and employee document expiries.
  • Liaise with PROs and government authorities as required.
  • Attendance & Leave Administration
  • Monitor employee attendance, timesheets, and leave records.
  • Process leave applications and maintain leave balances.
  • Generate attendance and leave reports for management review.
  • Payroll Support
  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
  • Verify payroll-related records and employee data.
  • Coordinate with the finance department regarding salary processing.
  • Employee Relations
  • Respond to employee enquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving routine employee concerns and administrative matters.
  • Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
  • Training & Development Coordination
  • Coordinate employee training schedules and maintain training records.
  • Monitor mandatory certifications and renewal requirements.
  • Assist in organising workshops, orientations, and development programmes.
  • HR Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Administrative Support
  • Draft HR correspondence, letters, memos, and certificates.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR-related documentation.
  • Support the HR department in day-to-day administrative activities.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform any additional HR and administrative tasks assigned by management.
  • Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of UAE labour law and HR practices.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.

Pay: From AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • HR ASSISTANT : 1 year (Required)

Language:

  • HINDI (Required)
