Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) to ensure compliance with Trakhees regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and UAE food regulations.
  • Lead food safety risk assessments and hazard analysis programs.
  • Maintain traceability, recall, and crisis management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Trakhees, Dubai Municipality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with authorities during inspections and audits.
  • Lead internal, external, supplier, and certification audits.
  • Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) programs.
  • Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Investigate customer complaints and quality incidents.
  • Lead QA/QC staff and conduct food safety training.
  • Maintain SOPs, quality manuals, records, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.
  • HACCP Certification (Mandatory).
  • ISO 22000 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Halal and Food Safety standards preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7–10 years in food manufacturing, processing, or FMCG.
  • Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with Trakhees and Dubai Municipality requirements is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and Microsoft Office.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Zero major non-conformities during audits.
  • Food safety compliance score ≥95%.
  • Reduction in customer complaints.
  • Timely closure of audit findings.
  • Reduction in product rejection and wastage

Experience:

  • QM on a Food Industry (Trakhees Approved): 7 years (Preferred)
