We are currently looking for an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Operations Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations across Projects, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Site Execution while ensuring operational excellence, profitability, quality, and client satisfaction.
Job Purpose
- Responsible for managing and improving the overall operational performance of the company across exhibitions, events, interior fit-out, and joinery projects.
- Ensure seamless coordination between departments including Sales, Estimation, Design, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse, and Project Management to achieve successful project delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Drive operational efficiency, resource optimization, process improvement, and team performance to support business growth and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all departments involved in project delivery.
- Lead and manage Project Management, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Site Operations teams.
- Ensure alignment between Sales, Estimation, Design, Procurement, Production, and Execution teams.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure operational readiness for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Allocate resources, manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently across projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Oversee procurement planning, production scheduling, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among all departments.
- Conduct regular operational meetings and project review sessions.
- Monitor project profitability, cost control, and resource utilization.
- Support management in strategic planning, operational forecasting, and business growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, contractual obligations, and operational standards.
- Work closely with Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with HSE requirements across all sites and facilities.
- Resolve operational challenges, project risks, and interdepartmental conflicts.
- Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure project success.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Support client relationship management and ensure exceptional service delivery throughout project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, or Business Operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong UAE experience within Exhibitions, Events, Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, Construction, or Manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience managing multiple departments and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project execution, production workflows, procurement, logistics, and operational management.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Operations Management, or similar certifications are an advantage.
