Field-based product specialist position responsible for driving cardiology prescribing behaviors and shaping treatment decisions across specialist accounts within the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain private & Public sector territory.The Product Specialist will be accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets, accelerating formulary inclusion, expanding territory footprint, and building long-term trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), cardiologists, internists, and pharmacy decision-makers across hospital and clinic settings.
The role demands advanced selling capabilities, deep cardiovascular therapeutic expertise, strong market access acumen, and data-driven territory leadership to maximize market share and improve patient outcomes for designated CVRM products. The incumbent will lead end-to-end account management from formulary listing through to sustained prescription generation across a diverse portfolio of private/public hospitals, specialist centers, and primary healthcare facilities.

Typical Accountabilities
- Territory Strategy & Business Ownership: Develop and execute a territory business plan using data-driven segmentation, targeting, and resource prioritization to drive sustainable growth.
- Specialist Engagement: Engage cardiologists and multidisciplinary HCPs in science-led dialogues on approved indications, patient selection, and real-world evidence to drive appropriate on-label prescribing and build trusted partnerships.
- Formulary Inclusion & Market Access: Lead end-to-end formulary listing — from physician recommendation through P&T committee approval, code creation, stocking, LPO, and first prescription across all assigned accounts.
- Account Planning & Institutional Selling: Develop multi-stakeholder account plans, navigate P&T committees and procurement processes, and engage prescribers, pharmacy heads, and medical directors to secure product access at facility and group level.
- Scientific Storytelling: Translate clinical data, guidelines, and health-economic evidence into compelling narratives that influence prescribing decisions and drive practice change.
- KOL Development & Peer Influence: Identify and cultivate relationships with KOLs and rising experts; coordinate peer-to-peer education, speaker tours, and scientific exchanges to expand brand advocacy.
- Launch Excellence: Execute new product launch plans — pre-launch market shaping, early formulary submissions, physician education, and post-launch adoption acceleration to ensure rapid uptake.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Market Access, Medical, and ComEx teams to remove barriers, enable listings, and align on high-impact account strategies.
- Digital & Omnichannel Engagement: Leverage digital channels, virtual platforms, and CRM tools to complement face-to-face calls and maximize territory reach.
- Competitive Intelligence: Map stakeholder landscapes, monitor competitor activities, and translate insights into proactive territory actions.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all interactions, formulary status, and territory activities in CRM (Veeva); provide timely updates and market feedback to leadership.
- Medical Mastery: Maintain expert-level CVRM knowledge — guidelines, pivotal trials, mechanisms of action, safety profiles, and patient pathways.
