Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and managing materials used in construction projects to ensure the highest quality standards and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management & Logistics

• Purchase Orders: Create, manage, and process Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Material Selection and Testing: Identify and test materials for construction projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures for materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
• Supplier Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with material suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the project team regarding material properties, usage, and best practices.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and budgeting for material procurement, aiming to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of material specifications, test results, and quality control measures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to integrate material requirements into project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven 02 years experience as a Material Engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, their properties, and applications.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to construction materials.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CAD, material testing software).
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
