Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Analyze project plans to identify labor, materials, and time requirements.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.
• Conduct cost comparisons, risk assessments, and value engineering.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare valuation reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost control.
• Assist in contract administration and documentation.
• Prepare interim and final payment applications and manage project cash flow.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor (preferably in construction, MEP etc
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CostX, MS Excel, AutoCAD).
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
• Membership with RICS or equivalent professional body (advantageous but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
