Quality Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Quality Test Engineer with strong expertise in database testing, data warehousing, ETL validation, and BI reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets and advanced SQL-based testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute data quality test cases across Data Warehouse, ETL pipelines, Reports, and BI Dashboards.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources.
• Develop and execute advanced SQL queries and Python-based test scripts to validate high-volume and complex datasets.
• Perform database testing on Amazon Redshift and Oracle environments.
• Test and validate reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Prepare detailed test execution reports and communicate testing status to project stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Database Testing using Amazon Redshift and Oracle.
• Advanced SQL expertise with complex joins, aggregations, validations, and performance testing.
• Hands-on experience in bulk data validation using SQL and Python scripts.
• Experience testing ETL/Data Integration workflows.
• Experience validating Reports and BI Dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of Data Quality frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Exposure to automation testing for data validation is an added advantage.
