Procurement Manager

About the Role

Ashbilia Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage the full procurement cycle for construction and aluminium projects. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor‑management skills, deep market knowledge, and proven experience in sourcing materials and services within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers for materials, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams for technical and commercial evaluations.
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely availability of materials on site.
• Maintain an updated vendor database and track supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with UAE procurement regulations and internal policies.
• Resolve supplier disputes and quality issues in coordination with QA/QC.
• Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably in construction or contracting.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, market pricing, and logistics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FIDIC contracts.
• Knowledge of import procedures and international sourcing.
• Familiarity with QA/QC requirements for construction materials.
