Senior Project Engineer – ELV / AV Systems

Job Description

Dualroots is looking for a professional, experienced, and results-driven Senior Project Engineer – ELV / AV Systems to manage projects from execution through to successful handover.

The ideal candidate must have strong UAE project execution experience in ELV, AV, security systems, ICT, and home automation, with the ability to lead site teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per approved quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete ELV / AV project execution from mobilization to final handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, material submittals, method statements, and project scope.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure all site works are completed as per approved drawings, quality standards, authority requirements, and project timelines.
• Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, materials, productivity, budget, and project cost control.
• Handle SIRA coordination, inspections, SPC drawings, Video Guard requirements, and compliance follow-up.
• Prepare and review progress reports, inspection requests, site reports, technical documents, and handover files.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snag clearance, as-built updates, documentation, training, and final handover.
• Identify project risks, delays, variations, rework, and cost impacts, and propose practical solutions.
• Support variation claims, procurement coordination, subcontractor reviews, and commercial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, site procedures, and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven UAE experience in ELV / AV project execution is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Structured Cabling, Gate Barriers, Networking, Wi-Fi, AV, Home Automation, and related ELV systems.
• Good understanding of UAE authority requirements, SIRA inspections, SPC approvals, and Video Guard processes.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, specifications, BOQs, and project documents.
• Strong leadership, coordination, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of testing, commissioning, handover procedures, cost control, variation management, and procurement coordination.
• High level of ownership, accountability, professionalism, and commitment to quality and deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
