Engineering Manager – Business Platforms (Fintech)

eMagine Solutions is partnered with a fast-growing Fintech in Dubai to hire an Engineering Manager to lead their Business Platforms function. This is a high-impact leadership role owning the architecture, delivery, and reliability of critical platforms including Back Office, Salesforce, internal tools, operational workflows, and integrations.

What you’ll own

• Lead engineering teams responsible for Back Office, Salesforce, and business-critical business platforms
• Manage Tech Leads and engineering teams, driving clear ownership, accountability, and technical direction
• Partner with Product, QA, Cloud, Security, Data, Compliance, Sales, Payments, Risk, Finance, and Support teams
• Own architecture decisions and delivery execution across internal platforms
• Improve delivery predictability and engineering execution (documentation, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, release readiness)
• Drive workflow automation, reporting improvements, system usability, and operational efficiency
• Oversee integrations across Salesforce, Back Office, client platforms, payment systems, KYC providers, trading systems, data platforms, and third parties
• Lead modernisation of legacy systems and support migration toward scalable, cloud-native architectures
• Strengthen monitoring, alerting, incident management, root cause analysis, and operational discipline
• Track KPIs across stability, delivery performance, integration reliability, and engineering productivity
• Promote practical AI adoption to improve delivery speed, code quality, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Support hiring, technical interviews, and team growth (with potential to help shape a dedicated Integrations Squad)

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years in engineering leadership / technical management roles
• 2+ years leading teams of 25+ people
• Proven experience managing Tech Leads and multiple workstreams/squads
• Experience owning architecture + delivery for business-critical platforms (CRM, Back Office, enterprise systems)
• Track record modernising legacy systems and improving scalable platform architecture
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams

Technical background

• Strong .NET, SQL, API design, enterprise system architecture
• Salesforce ecosystem experience (integrations, workflows, automation, reporting, data models)
• AWS + cloud-native development, Docker, microservices, distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture, data synchronisation, system interoperability
• CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring/logging, production support
• Practical experience using AI tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity

Nice to have

• Fintech / financial services / brokerage / trading / payments / regulated environments
• Exposure to KYC, onboarding, payments, compliance workflows, client lifecycle operations
• Experience in integration-heavy environments with multiple internal + external platforms
