IT Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team at First Flight Couriers LLC. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hardware, networking, and basic knowledge about software and APIs, coupled with a minimum of four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of our IT infrastructure, including endpoints such as desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
• Configure and manage firewalls to control incoming and outgoing network traffic, ensuring network security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Experience with system monitoring tools and security protocols.
• Monitor endpoint and firewall logs for security incidents and anomalies, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technology solutions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience or relevant certifications may be considered.
• Minimum of four years of experience as an IT Administrator or similar role, with specific experience
• Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, including antivirus, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting endpoint and firewall issues, including network connectivity and access control problems.
• Familiarity with industry-standard endpoint security tools and firewall management platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of endpoint security and firewall administration.

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
