Chief Technology Officer

We are a fast-growing e-commerce company operating multiple online stores across the GCC, serving customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, digital transformation, infrastructure, software development, data, AI initiatives, and e-commerce platforms.

The CTO will be responsible for building a scalable technology organization capable of supporting rapid business growth and multi-million AED annual online sales.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Leadership

• Define and execute the company's technology vision and roadmap.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across all departments.
• Build and manage the engineering, data, and technology teams.
• Establish technology governance, security, and development standards.

E-Commerce Platforms

• Oversee Shopify, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, mobile applications, and internal systems.
• Improve website performance, uptime, scalability, and security.
• Ensure seamless customer experiences across all channels.

Data & Analytics

• Build a data-driven culture across the organization.
• Implement business intelligence and reporting systems.
• Lead data warehousing, customer analytics, and predictive analytics initiatives.
• Develop dashboards for sales, marketing, inventory, finance, and operations.

AI & Automation

• Drive AI adoption across customer service, marketing, operations, and internal workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies.

Infrastructure & Security

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
• Develop business continuity plans and risk management strategies.

Vendor & Project Management

• Manage external technology partners and software vendors.
• Oversee large-scale implementation projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a CTO, Head of Engineering, VP Engineering, or similar leadership role.
• Strong experience in e-commerce and digital businesses.
• Proven experience scaling technology teams and platforms.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
