Project Manager

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. He should be well-versed in Project Management , Project planning, Project Tendering & estimation, Contract Management, Co-ordination with Client / Consultant / Vendors / Sub-contractors / government Authorities, Supervision of Electrical Installations, Testing / Commissioning / Maintenance of EHV / HV / LV electrical systems in different capacities

• Lead the overall planning and implementation of the project.
• Estimate, manage, and monitor the electrical aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to all staff.
• Provides verbal and written instruction, interpretation and review comments of design documents for any project including programs, conceptual drawings, preliminary and final design drawings and specifications.
• Performs reviews of project contract design documents, performs inspection during construction of project, attends meetings, prepares minutes, punch lists and progress reports.
• Ensure safe working at all times and that zero accidents are maintained for all project staff.
• Maintain a positive cash-flow throughout the project life and ensure that all third parties’ interests are maintained in accordance with good business practice at all times.
• Ensure hand-over of a quality finished project on-time within the milestone dates.
• Ensure that a qualified, balanced, well-structured and motivated project task team is in place along with the desired workforce to meet our commitment to the Client.
• Ensure compliance with local governmental laws and regulations concerning labour and personnel welfare.
• Update the project and its business within the strict compliance of the project plan, standards and procedures as set out by the company and in accordance with our contract with the Client.
• Maintain project schedules and delivery of project against project/intermediate milestone dates.
• Protect the company’s interests in the contract with the Client, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure correct manning levels and Supervisory levels in compliance with company ratios.
• Ensure correct quality of manpower and supervisory personnel.
• Ensure personnel remain up to date and in touch with latest technological developments.
• Monitoring and reporting of the projects progress, including the provision of regular progress reports to other members of the Senior Management team.
• Ensure that we build and train a strong, experienced, professional and capable Project Management team for the group overall.
• Responsible for CSR Activities & engaging teams in the social responsibilities.
• Taking safety measures at the workplace and giving knowledge to the people at site.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Certification as a master electrician is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in PILC Projects
• 10-12 years of experience in electrical design and supervision and installation of electrical installations.
• Extensive knowledge of IEEE, NEC, NESC, and other governing standards for design and implementation of electrical installations.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.
• UAE driving license
• In-depth knowledge of all IEC standards for LV Switchgear and Control gear, local utility regulations (ADDC, DEWA, SEWA, FEWA), and consultant specifications.
