Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee civil construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving operational excellence throughout all phases of project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil construction projects from planning, execution, monitoring, and final handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Supervise and provide leadership to project engineers, site supervisors, and construction teams.
• Manage project costs, variations, claims, and budget control to achieve financial targets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and project objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Review and approve project documentation, including method statements, work programs, and technical submittals.
• Identify project risks, delays, and issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and present project progress reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned works.
• Resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues that may arise during project execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
• Support tendering, planning, and business development activities when required.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10+ years of GCC experience in civil construction project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC construction regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
