About the Role

Emerald Moon Contracting LLC is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant & Business Development Engineer to support the Managing Director in daily operations while contributing to business development and tendering activities.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, strong communication skills, and experience in the UAE construction industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support

  • Provide direct administrative and executive support to the Managing Director.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Draft professional emails, letters, reports, and presentations.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and record minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Maintain confidential documents and company records.
  • Follow up on pending tasks and ensure timely completion.

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities in the UAE construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Generate leads through LinkedIn, networking, and online tender portals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and government authorities.
  • Prepare capability statements, company profiles, and presentation materials.
  • Support prequalification submissions, tender documentation, and proposal preparation.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Attend client meetings and represent the company professionally.

Technical Support

  • Review engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Assist in preparing quotations and technical proposals.
  • Coordinate with estimation and project teams during tender submissions.
  • Maintain records of ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in construction, infrastructure, or road contracting.
  • Experience in Executive Assistant, Project Coordination, or Business Development is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and tender procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM systems, and online tender portals.
  • UAE driving licence is an advantage.
