MEP Engineer

Purpose:

To ensure the successful delivery of all MEP systems within a project by integrating design requirements, construction activities, and commissioning processes, while maintaining quality, safety, cost control, and project timelines.

Responsibility:

· Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and earthing

· Review electrical drawings, specifications, and material submittals

· Supervise installation of MEP works by site teams and subcontractors

· Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations and UAE Electrical Wiring Regulations

· Conduct testing and commissioning of all MEP installations

· Prepare method statement and inspection test plans

· Coordinate with civil teams for MEP integration

· Coordinate with MEP sub contractor.

· Review all the MEP shop Drawings before submitting to consultant.

Accountability

· Technical accuracy and compliance of all MEP installations.

· Timely execution of MEP works as per project schedule.

· Quality of workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

· Coordination efficiency between multiple disciplines (civil, architectural, MEP).

· Ensuring zero or minimal rework due to design or execution errors.

· Compliance with safety standards and authority requirements.

· Proper documentation of inspections, testing, and commissioning records.

Role Requirements

Educational Qualifications/Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 7-15 years in building construction MEP
• Knowledge of DEWA standards and UAE codes
• Experience with testing and commissioning
• Driving License

Pay: From AED12,000.00 per month

Experience:

• MEP Engineer : 10 years (Required)
• Construction(MEP) in UAE: 10 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)
