Contracts & Commercial Manager (7–10 Years Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced and results-driven Contracts & Commercial Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, contract management expertise, and a proven track record in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of MEP construction projects within the UAE/GCC market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all contractual and commercial activities across multiple MEP projects from from pre-award through project close-out.
• Review, negotiate, administer and monitor contracts, subcontracts, purchase agreements and other commercial arrangements.
• Oversee project commercial performance, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, cash flow management and profitability analysis.
• Manage variations, claims, extension of time submissions, contractual correspondence, dispute resolution and final account negotiations.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of interim valuations, payment applications, commercial reports and financial forecasts.
• Establish and maintain robust commercial controls, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company policies and industry best practices.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams and senior management on contractual risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders on contractual and commercial matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in contracts and commercial management within the MEP contracting or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, claims management and commercial controls.
• Proven experience managing the commercial aspects of large-scale MEP projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong proficiency in cost management, financial reporting and contract documentation.

Compensation: AED 20,000 – 25,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
