Civil Site Engineer

Site Engineer (Civil) – Landscaping, Swimming Pools & Water Features

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee the execution of landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Project Execution

• Supervise civil construction activities related to landscaping, swimming pools, and water features.
• Manage project execution from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works

• Oversee construction of swimming pools, balancing tanks, pump rooms, fountains, waterfalls, and related structures.
• Supervise excavation, reinforcement, concrete works, waterproofing, tiling, coping, and finishing activities.
• Ensure quality control of water-retaining structures and associated civil works.
• Coordinate with MEP teams for filtration systems and water feature equipment installation.

Landscaping & Hardscape Works

• Supervise hardscape activities including paving, interlocks, kerbstones, pathways, retaining walls, pergola foundations, and decorative structures.
• Manage earthworks, grading, drainage systems, and site preparation.
• Ensure all landscape infrastructure complies with approved designs and engineering standards.

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and provide engineering support throughout project execution.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to UAE regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Promote safe working practices and support HSE compliance across all site activities.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, material usage, site activities, and project updates.
• Support documentation for approvals, testing, inspections, and project handover.

Cost Control & Resource Management

• Assist with quantity take-offs, material estimation, procurement coordination, and cost monitoring.
• Support efficient resource utilization and cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, or civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete works, waterproofing, drainage systems, hardscape construction, and swimming pool structures.
• Experience coordinating civil works with MEP, irrigation, and landscaping teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project documentation.
• UAE Driving License preferred.

Pay: From AED1.00 per month
