Senior Electrical Engineer (7–10 Years Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven project execution experience and a demonstrated ability to deliver electrical engineering works for complex construction projects across the UAE/GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the execution of electrical works across assigned projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved specifications, project schedules, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Review and coordinate electrical shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals and construction documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, authority regulations, contractual requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage testing, commissioning and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers, supervisors and project personnel.
• Support project planning, procurement activities and resource allocation to facilitate timely project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, progress updates and project-related documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within the MEP contracting and construction industry.
• Proven experience in the execution and management of electrical systems for commercial, residential or mixed-use developments within the UAE/GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, power distribution, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection, FLS systems, ELV systems and applicable authority regulations.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, industry codes and international engineering standards.
• Experience in reviewing technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements and testing & commissioning documentation.
• Sound understanding of project execution, quality control, cost awareness and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Compensation: AED 18,000 – 24,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.
