Job Description: QA/QC Inspector – Villas (Snagging & Finishing Works)

Job Summary

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of finishing works in villa projects, including snagging and de-snagging activities. The role involves identifying defects, monitoring rectifications, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Snagging & Inspection

• Conduct detailed snagging inspections of villas before handover.
• Identify defects in finishing works (civil, MEP, and architectural elements).
• Prepare and maintain snag lists using inspection tools or software.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

De-Snagging & Follow-up

• Monitor and track rectification of snags by contractors/subcontractors.
• Conduct re-inspections to verify completion of corrective actions.
• Ensure timely closure of all snag items before project handover.

Quality Control

• Inspect finishing works such as:
• Painting, plastering, tiling, and flooring
• Doors, windows, joinery, and cabinetry
• Waterproofing and sealants
• Electrical and plumbing fixtures
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet contract requirements.
• Report non-conformance issues (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Submit daily/weekly reports on quality and snagging progress.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors.

Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality regulations and project standards.
• Follow health and safety policies during inspections.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC or site inspection.
• Experience in villas, residential projects, or high-end finishing works.
• Strong experience in snagging and de-snagging processes.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.
• Knowledge of finishing standards and materials.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with snagging software (desirable).

Certifications (Preferred)

• QA/QC certifications (ISO, internal auditor, etc.)
• Dubai-based experience is highly preferred.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
