AI Engineer (LLM Systems & Automation)

SSG Events is a fast-growing media and events company building AI-powered content and intelligence platforms across multiple industries.

We are looking for an AI Engineer to take ownership of the systems, infrastructure, and automation behind our AI-driven content workflows. This is a hands-on role for someone who has built and operated production AI systems and enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain production-grade AI and LLM-powered workflows
• Design systems for data ingestion, processing, classification, ranking, and summarization
• Develop workflow orchestration using LangGraph, Temporal, LangChain, or similar frameworks
• Integrate data from APIs, RSS feeds, websites, and other structured and unstructured sources
• Improve reliability through monitoring, observability, retries, and failure recovery
• Optimize AI performance, latency, quality, and operating costs
• Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure and automation pipelines
• Work closely with leadership to continuously improve and scale the platform

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and operating LLM-based systems in production
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with APIs, workflow automation, and data pipelines
• Ability to independently own projects from architecture to deployment

Preferred

• Experience with RAG, vector databases, and retrieval systems
• Experience with AI evaluation and monitoring frameworks
• Experience in media, publishing, search, recommendation, or content platforms
• Startup experience with high ownership and fast execution

Compensation

• Fixed monthly salary + performance bonus
• Performance-based salary progression:
• Month 1: AED 4,000–5,000
• Month 2: AED 5,000–6,000
• Month 3: AED 6,000–7,000
• Additional growth opportunities based on performance and contribution
