Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Infrastructure

Location -Dubai

We are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of major infrastructure projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, valuation, claims management, and project profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Required

10+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with water and infrastructure projects including:

• Sewerage Networks
• Storm Water Drainage
• Potable Water Pipelines
• Irrigation Networks
• Pumping Stations
• Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants
• Large Infrastructure and Utility Projects

.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow.
• Prepare cost reports and commercial forecasts.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering proposals.
• Manage project profitability and commercial performance.

Quantity Surveying

• Prepare and verify quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Review BOQs and tender documents.
• Measure completed works and certify subcontractor payments.
• Prepare monthly valuations and progress payment applications.

Contract Administration

• Administer contracts based on FIDIC and other standard forms.
• Review contractual obligations and advise project management.
• Handle contract correspondence and notices.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Claims & Variations

• Prepare and negotiate variation orders.
• Assess extension of time (EOT) claims.
• Prepare and defend contractual claims.
• Maintain detailed records supporting claims and variations.

Procurement & Subcontract Management

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare subcontract agreements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and payments.
• Finalize subcontract accounts.

Project Controls

• Coordinate with project managers, planners, and engineers.
• Monitor project progress against budgets.
• Prepare commercial risk assessments.
• Support project close-out and final account settlement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
