Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ductman to carry out installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of HVAC ducting systems for construction and MEP projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication and installation of ductwork systems for air conditioning and ventilation projects. Previous experience working with HVAC companies, MEP contractors, or construction companies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble HVAC ducting systems including GI ducts, pre-insulated ducts, flexible ducts, and ventilation duct systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, duct layout drawings, shop drawings, and installation plans.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit duct sections according to approved project specifications.
• Install duct supports, hangers, clamps, brackets, and accessories required for ducting systems.
• Carry out installation of air distribution systems including supply air ducts, return air ducts, exhaust air ducts, fresh air ducts, and ventilation systems.
• Install and connect HVAC accessories such as:
• Volume Control Dampers (VCD)
• Fire Dampers
• Access Doors
• Diffusers and Grilles
• Flexible Connections
• Sound Attenuators (where applicable)
• Seal duct joints properly to prevent air leakage and ensure system efficiency.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to complete installation as per project schedule.
• Support testing, balancing, and commissioning activities for HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing ducting systems when required.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and follow site HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures.
• Report material shortages, technical issues, and work progress to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Ductman in HVAC companies, MEP contractors, or construction companies.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC duct installation and ventilation systems.
• Experience in handling:
• GI Duct Installation
• Pre-Insulated Duct Installation
• Flexible Duct Installation
• Exhaust & Fresh Air Systems
• Diffusers, Grilles & Dampers Installation
• Duct Supports & Hanging Systems
• Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and technical layouts.
• Familiarity with duct installation standards and air leakage prevention methods.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITI / Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or related trade.
• Experience working on large-scale HVAC or MEP projects.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
