Pipe Fitter- Fire Fighting System

Position: Pipefitter
Department: MEP / Fire Fighting Division

Reporting To: MEP Supervisor / Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Pipefitter with hands-on experience in Fire Fighting systems installation and maintenance. The candidate should have practical knowledge of installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining fire fighting piping systems in commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects. Previous experience working with a Fire Fighting Company is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and fix fire fighting piping systems including sprinkler lines, hydrant systems, hose reel systems, and related pipe networks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and MEP layouts for fire fighting system installation.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and fit pipes as per project requirements.
• Install valves, fittings, supports, hangers, couplings, and other accessories for fire protection systems.
• Carry out pressure testing, leakage testing, and inspection of installed pipelines.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and project schedule.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on existing fire fighting systems when required.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and safety procedures at the work site.
• Identify and report material shortages, technical issues, or installation problems to the supervisor.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all company safety regulations and site-specific HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an MEP Pipefitter.
• Mandatory experience working with a Fire Fighting Company or fire protection system installation projects.
• Good knowledge of Fire Fighting systems including:
• Sprinkler System
• Fire Hydrant System
• Hose Reel System
• Fire Pump Connection Systems
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and installation layouts.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC construction standards will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work on site under project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITI / Technical certification in Pipefitting, Mechanical, or related trade.
• Experience in UAE construction or MEP projects preferred.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
