Service Engineer / Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fiber & CO₂ Laser Machine Service Engineer to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laser cutting, engraving, marking, and welding machines at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission Fiber and CO₂ laser machines.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, CNC, and laser-related faults.
• Troubleshoot laser sources, cutting heads, chillers, servo systems, and control units.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Train machine operators and maintenance personnel.
• Prepare service reports and maintain technical documentation.
• Recommend spare parts and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with laser safety standards and company procedures.
• Travel to customer locations as required.

RequirementsEducation

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing Fiber Laser and/or CO₂ Laser Machines.
• Experience with CNC-controlled industrial equipment is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of CNC controllers, servo drives, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with laser optics, beam alignment, and cutting parameter optimization.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting machine hardware and software issues.
