Agentic AI Engineer (Healthcare)

Role Summary

We are seeking an Agentic Workflow Builder to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered healthcare workflows that automate clinical, operational, and administrative processes across healthcare providers, insurers, and digital health platforms in the UAE. The role focuses on leveraging AI agents, workflow orchestration, and healthcare data standards while ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agent workflows for patient onboarding, appointment management, clinical documentation, claims processing, prior authorization, care coordination, and patient engagement.
• Integrate AI solutions with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, healthcare APIs, and insurance platforms.
• Develop and optimize agentic workflows using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Implement human-in-the-loop validation processes for clinical and operational decision support.
• Monitor workflow performance, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare administrators, insurers, and IT teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Maintain audit trails, governance controls, and explainability mechanisms for AI systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in AI engineering, workflow automation, healthcare technology, or digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks, Python, APIs, cloud platforms, and healthcare data integration.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR and HL7.
• Understanding of UAE healthcare operations, insurance workflows, and EMR ecosystems.
