Project Manager- Swimming pools, Water Feature and Landscape

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will oversee planning, execution, coordination, quality, safety, and commercial performance while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Take full responsibility for delivering landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including mobilization, execution, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Coordinate project teams and proactively resolve technical and operational issues to maintain smooth progress.

Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage project schedules, work programs, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Facilitate effective communication between site, design, procurement, and technical teams.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and implement action plans to address project challenges.

Site & Team Management

• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily site operations to ensure activities are progressing according to plan.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Make timely decisions to resolve site issues and minimize delays.

Technical Oversight

• Review drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and method statements prior to execution.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and UAE authority requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Coordinate civil, MEP, irrigation, and landscaping activities for seamless project execution.

Swimming Pool & Water Feature Works

• Oversee the construction and installation of swimming pools, pump rooms, filtration systems, fountains, waterfalls, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure proper installation of pumps, piping, electrical systems, lighting, and automation controls.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and performance verification prior to project handover.

Landscaping & Civil Works

• Manage hardscape and softscape works, including paving, kerbstones, planting, turfing, irrigation, and landscape structures.
• Supervise excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation activities.
• Ensure all landscaping and civil works meet approved drawings and quality standards.

Cost Control & Commercial Management

• Monitor project budgets, costs, variations, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams to optimize project expenditure.
• Review subcontractor progress claims and payment certifications.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project delivery.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce company quality standards, HSE policies, and UAE regulations across all project activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and compliance.
• Implement corrective actions where required and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management and clients.
• Track project risks, delays, and mitigation measures.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including approvals, inspections, correspondence, and records.
• Ensure complete handover documentation, including as-built drawings and commissioning records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of UAE experience managing landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, or construction projects.
