Job Purpose
To manage and strengthen relationships with government partners, coordinate regulatory and awareness workshops with Business Groups and Business Councils, and act as a central focal point for government-related data requests, engagements, and regulatory facilitation activities.
Government Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for federal and Dubai Government entities engaging with Dubai Chambers and BGBCs.
- Manage and maintain effective working relationships with key government partners, including but not limited to CDA and DET.
- Facilitate coordination between government entities and relevant Business Groups and Councils.
Workshops & Awareness Sessions Management
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the annual calendar of regulatory, awareness, and consultation workshops organized for government entities.
- Liaise with internal teams, Business Groups, and Councils to confirm participation and content alignment.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics for government workshops, including invitations, marketing coordination, RSVPs, venues, and operational arrangements.
Data Requests & Reporting
- Coordinate and manage structured data requests from government entities (e.g. sectoral challenges, industry insights, and feedback from Business Groups).
- Ensure accurate consolidation, validation, and timely submission of requested information.
- Prepare post-workshop reports capturing outcomes, key insights, attendance, and participation metrics.
Regulatory & Licensing Facilitation
- Manage the relationship with CDA and DET to facilitate processes related to license renewals, NOCs, and regulatory approvals (e.g. banking-related requirements).
- Act as a coordination point between internal stakeholders and government entities to ensure smooth and timely processing.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Track trends, demand patterns, and recurring regulatory topics to support future planning and capacity forecasting.
- Propose process improvements and structured engagement models to manage increasing demand efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Government Relations, International Relations, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum Experience and Skills
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in government liaison, corporate affairs, business relations, policy support, or stakeholder coordination.
- Experience supporting workshops, awareness sessions, or stakeholder events.
- Familiarity with government engagement protocols and regulatory environments in Dubai/UAE.
- Experience preparing reports, summaries, and engagement outcomes.
