BIM Modeler

Job Summary:

The BIM Modeler – Non-Structural Works is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, MEP, façade, steel secondary structures, and other non-structural elements. The role involves preparing detailed BIM models, shop drawings, coordination drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, BIM standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Tekla, or other approved BIM software.
• Produce accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, façade, and other non-structural elements with structural and civil disciplines.
• Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.
• Review contract drawings, specifications, and project requirements before model development.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and company procedures.
• Generate schedules, quantities, and material take-offs from BIM models.
• Update models based on design revisions, site instructions, RFIs, and consultant comments.
• Assist project teams in resolving design and coordination issues.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs.
• Support engineers and project managers with BIM-related technical requirements.
• Prepare as-built BIM models upon project completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of BIM modeling experience in non-structural works.
• Experience in steel structures, architectural works, façade systems, MEP, or fit-out projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and project coordination procedures.
• Experience working on GCC/UAE projects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures, Dynamo, or other BIM software is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare detailed construction and shop drawings.

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
