Estimation Engineer – ELV / IT Systems

WorldTech Information Technology Consultants Co. L.L.C. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in reviewing technical drawings, preparing BOQs, estimating project costs, and generating accurate quotations for ELV and IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and project drawings.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial quotations for ELV and IT systems.
• Perform quantity take-offs from design drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals within specified deadlines.
• Support the sales and project teams during pre-sales activities.
• Ensure all estimates comply with client requirements and company standards.
• Maintain and update pricing databases, material costs, and vendor information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in ELV/IT estimation and quotation preparation.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of the UAE market, suppliers, and industry standards is preferred.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 3,500 – AED 4,000 per month
