AV Installation & Service Technician

Technoa Middle East Technology LLC and Zenova Smart Systems LLC are seeking a versatile, proactive, and highly skilled AV Technician. In this role, you will directly serve our combined client portfolio, executing high-quality on-site installations and providing robust ongoing technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and support services across commercial and premium sectors clients.

Beyond standard servicing, your responsibilities will include hands-on equipment installation, system layout design support, and direct assistance with control system programming and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Client-Facing Installation & Rigging: Serve as a primary technical representative on-site for Technoa and Zenova clients, physically mounting and integrating AV hardware including displays, projectors, video walls, smart lighting, and rack-mounted systems safely and professionally.

On-Site Service & SLA Delivery: Respond promptly to client service calls, executing both scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown interventions to ensure minimal downtime for critical client infrastructure.

Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Rapidly isolate, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity failures down to the component, cable, or network layer at client locations.

System Layout & Design Assistance: Collaborate with the core engineering teams to review schematic diagrams, assess physical site conditions, and provide practical feedback on AV component placement, cable routing, and containment layouts.

Programming Assistance: Assist senior engineers with loading, testing, and debugging control system codes; perform basic configuration adjustments, network IP addressing, and firmware updates.

Cable Termination & Management: Execute precise structured cabling, routing, and professional terminations (HDMI, RJ45, XLR, captive screw, and fiber) ensuring clean, organized rack builds that comply with company engineering standards.

Skills & Qualifications

Candidate Preference: Strong preference for East Asian candidates, matching specific localized technical training standards or communication workflows.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in AV engineering installation, field troubleshooting, and site integration.

Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints, line schematics, and AV rising diagrams accurately.

Programming Exposure: Basic familiarity with control system logic and user interface design concepts; ability to navigate configuration software is a strong plus.

Networking Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of AV-over-IP architectures, Dante audio routing, and basic TCP/IP network topologies.

Client Relations: Strong customer-facing communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English with the capability to explain technical resolutions clearly to non-technical client representatives.

Physical Capability: Capable of working safely at heights (on ladders/scaffolding) and handling power tools required for structural mounting.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
