Job Summary

Binghatti is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UAE-based main contracting companies and a proven track record in preparing accurate cost estimates for high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, and large-scale construction projects.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs, analyzing tender documents, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting procurement and commercial teams to ensure competitive and profitable project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assess project risks, opportunities, and cost implications.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, planning, and commercial teams during the tendering process.
• Prepare tender submissions, cost reports, and bid summaries for management review.
• Develop value engineering proposals and cost optimization strategies.
• Monitor market trends, material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor pricing.
• Support post-award commercial handover and project budgeting activities.
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records.
• Participate in negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in estimation and tendering within reputable main contracting companies in the UAE.
• Strong experience in high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, and large-scale building projects.
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, UAE market rates, and procurement practices.
• Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost planning, and tender analysis.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, specifications, and construction standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
