Design & Fit-Out Civil Estimation Engineer

Amber Building Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced Design & Fit-Out Civil Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in interior fit-out, renovation, villa projects, commercial spaces, quantity surveying, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for fit-out, renovation, and civil construction projects.
• Review architectural, interior design, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare accurate tender submissions, commercial proposals, and project budgets.
• Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams during the estimation stage.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
• Prepare material schedules and cost comparisons.
• Assist in design development to ensure cost-effective and practical solutions.
• Prepare variation orders, cost reports, and project feasibility studies.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, assessments, and tender requirements.
• Support project execution teams with technical and commercial clarifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in fit-out, interior design, renovation, and civil construction estimation.
• Strong experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, tendering, and project costing.
• Knowledge of villa projects, commercial fit-outs, offices, retail outlets, restaurants, and hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction materials, market rates, and fit-out standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• UAE driving license is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in design coordination and shop drawing review.
• Knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, gypsum works, flooring, ceilings, and decorative elements.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
